From there, the tour continues to the Adolf Wagner "Ebbelwoi Kneipe" (apple wine or cider pub) pub. Since 1931, locals have been coming here to sample the wares and enjoy hearty Hessian specialities. As custom dictates, the traditional apple wine is served in the ‘magic triangle’: ribbed glasses, a stoneware jug, the ‘Bembel’, and a small wooden lid to protect the cider from flies.
